Nearly 160 years after the first World Expo in London, Shanghai is hosting the World Expo in 2010. Following on from the success of the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, Shanghai has promised to host a spectacular event, showcasing the best of what China and the rest of the world’s nations have to offer, in the 21st century.

With 192 countries and 50 organisations confirming their participation, it is certain to offer the visitor an unforgettable experience, making it one of the most memorable World Expos in recent history.

Currently, Shanghai is one of the most vibrant cities on the planet, epitomizing the philosophy of “East meets West”.
